Using the support widget Guide

The support widget sits in the corner of every page so you can search articles, start a live chat, or open a ticket without leaving your work.

On this page

The support widget is an always-available help launcher in the corner of every Praxivara page. From it you can search help articles, start a live chat, or open a support ticket, all without leaving what you were doing.

What the widget does

The widget gives you three ways to get help from one place:

  • Search help articles. Type a question or keyword and get matching Help Center articles inline.
  • Start a live chat. On plans that include it, open a real-time conversation with the support team.
  • Open a support ticket. Available on every plan, so you can always send your question and get a reply.

When you are signed in, the widget recognizes your account, so your requests are tied to you automatically. It also works for logged-out visitors on the Help Center, so you can submit a request even before signing in.

Open the widget

  1. Look for the help or chat bubble in the bottom corner of the page.
  2. Click it to open the widget panel.
  3. Choose to search articles, start a conversation, or open a ticket.

Note: The widget appears on customer-facing pages and on the Help Center. It does not appear on admin pages, so if you are in an admin view you won't see it there.

Search help articles

The fastest way to solve most questions is to search first:

  1. Open the widget and type a keyword or short question, such as reset password, billing, or connect Gmail.
  2. Review the suggested articles and open the one that fits.
  3. Follow the step-by-step instructions to resolve the issue yourself.

If none of the results match, you can move straight to starting a conversation or opening a ticket from the same panel.

Start a live chat

Live chat is included on higher plans. If your plan includes it, you can start a real-time conversation with the support team directly from the widget:

  1. Open the widget and choose to start a conversation.
  2. Describe your question and send it.
  3. Reply within the widget as the support team responds.

A live chat can be continued as an ongoing support ticket, so nothing is lost when the conversation ends. You can also return to the widget later to see your past conversation history.

Tip: If you don't see a live-chat option, your current plan is ticket-only. You can still get help by opening a ticket, or upgrade to a plan that includes live chat.

Open a support ticket

Every plan can open a support ticket, whether you are signed in or visiting the Help Center while logged out:

  1. Open the widget and choose to open a ticket or start a conversation.
  2. Describe the problem clearly and include relevant account details.
  3. Submit the request.

Replies are handled over email, so you have a written record and can follow up at any time. If you don't see a response, check your spam folder and confirm the email address on your account is correct.

Do you need to sign in first?

Not necessarily. When you are signed in, the widget already knows who you are and links your requests to your account. On the Help Center, the widget also works for logged-out visitors, so you can search articles and submit a request without signing in. Signing in first is still helpful because it keeps everything tied to your account and history.

Ask the AI assistant instead

For many product and account how-to questions, the in-app AI assistant can answer you directly in chat. It searches Praxivara's official Help Center and Documentation and summarizes the relevant articles with links, so you often get an answer without opening a ticket at all. Just ask a question like "how do I connect Gmail" or "where do I set up two-factor authentication."
