When your credits renew Guide

Learn when your monthly credit allowance resets and what the amber and red progress bars on the Usage page mean.

On this page

Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that you spend as the assistant, agents, and channels do work for you. That allowance resets on a regular cycle, and the Usage page shows you exactly where you stand and when the next reset happens.

Where to check your renewal date

Open Settings and go to the Usage tab. At the top you will see your credits for the current billing period: how many you have used, how many remain, and the date your allowance renews.

You can also just ask the assistant questions like "how many credits do I have left" or "when do my credits renew" and it will report the exact figures.

When the allowance resets

Your monthly credit allowance refreshes at the start of each billing period. On your renewal date, your used total returns to zero and your full plan allowance is available again for the new period.

Note: Credits you purchase on top of your plan work differently from your monthly allowance. Your included monthly credits are always spent first, and purchased credits carry over from period to period while your subscription stays active.

Reading the progress bar

The credits meter on the Usage page uses color to tell you how much of your allowance is left at a glance, so you are never caught off guard mid-task.

  • Normal — you have comfortable headroom in your allowance for the period.
  • Amber — you have used most of your allowance for the period. This is a signal to keep an eye on your remaining balance, especially if you have heavy work planned before your renewal date.
  • Red — your monthly allowance for the period is exhausted. If you have purchased credits banked, work continues by drawing on those; otherwise, top up to keep going.

If you run low before renewal

If you approach or reach the end of your allowance before your renewal date, you have a few options:

  1. Wait for renewal. Your full monthly allowance returns automatically on your next billing date.
  2. Top up. From the Billing page you can buy a one-time credit pack or a recurring monthly pack for extra headroom.
  3. Turn on auto top-up. Set a low-balance threshold and choose a pack, and Praxivara will top you up automatically before you stall.

Purchased credits are only drawn on once your monthly allowance is used up, so topping up never wastes the credits already included in your plan.

See where your credits went

To understand why you are approaching your limit, expand any category on the Usage page — such as AI Chat, Channels, AI Agents, or Voice — to see which chats, agents, or channels consumed credits. You can drill into individual charges with their timestamps, and open a conversation directly from a charge to review exactly what happened.

Tip: Inbound phone calls and received mail are always free and never count against your allowance. Only outgoing work, such as sent messages and outbound calls, uses credits.
