Everything you do in Praxivara lives inside a workspace — your chats, agents, integrations, connected phone numbers, email addresses, and files. Creating additional workspaces lets you keep separate businesses, brands, or clients fully isolated from one another.
When to create a new workspace
You automatically get your own workspace the day you sign up, and for many people that is all they need. Create an additional workspace when you want a clean separation between different lines of work — for example:
- You run more than one business or brand and want each to have its own agents, integrations, and connected channels.
- You manage work for separate clients and need their data kept apart.
- You want to keep a project, department, or team distinct from your main account.
Because data does not cross between workspaces, each one stays self-contained. A chat, agent, or integration you set up in one workspace will not appear in another.
How to create a workspace
- Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. This is where your list of workspaces lives.
- Choose Create workspace.
- Follow the short onboarding flow and give the new workspace a name.
- Finish the flow to land inside your new workspace, ready to set up.
Once created, the new workspace appears in the same account menu, so you can switch into it at any time.
Tip: Give each workspace a clear, recognizable name — such as the business or client it represents. The name is what you will see when switching between workspaces, so descriptive names make it easy to land in the right place.
What a new workspace starts with
A new workspace begins empty and separate. It has its own:
- Chats, agents, and files
- Integrations and connected messaging channels
- Rented phone numbers and Praxivara Mail email addresses
- Credit balance and usage
None of these carry over from your other workspaces. If you want a phone number, an integration, or a connected channel in the new workspace, you set it up there directly.
Billing for additional workspaces
Each workspace carries its own subscription rather than sharing one across your account. Your first workspace is the only one eligible for a free trial; any workspace you create afterward is billed from the start on the plan you select.
If you later invite teammates into a workspace, each teammate takes a paid seat that is billed to the workspace owner. You can read more about inviting people and building a team in the related articles for this section.
Finding your way around multiple workspaces
The account menu in the sidebar always shows the workspaces you belong to, with the active one marked. The active workspace determines which chats, agents, integrations, credits, and usage you see at any moment.
If something you expect to find seems missing, the most common reason is that it lives in a different workspace. Switch workspaces from the account menu and check there.
Note: There is no separate "personal" mode in Praxivara — everything, including your very first account, is a workspace. Creating more workspaces simply adds more separate spaces alongside your original one.
