The account menu: settings, workspaces & more Guide

Your avatar menu is the hub for switching workspaces, opening account and billing settings, changing your theme, finding docs, and signing out.

The account menu is the small hub tucked behind your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar. It brings together everything tied to your identity and your workspace: switching or creating workspaces, opening your account and billing settings, changing the appearance theme, reaching documentation and this Help Center, and signing out.

Opening the account menu

Look to the bottom of the left sidebar, where you'll see your avatar and name. Click it to open the menu. If your sidebar is collapsed to a slim icon rail, the avatar is still there at the bottom, and clicking it opens the same menu.

On a phone, open the slide-out menu first, then tap your avatar at the bottom to reach the same options.

Tip: Many pages that people expect to find in the main sidebar, such as Billing, Usage, and Team, actually live here in the account menu. If you can't find a settings page, this is the first place to look.

Switching and creating workspaces

A workspace is a self-contained space for your assistant, agents, integrations, and tools. The account menu is where you move between the workspaces you belong to, or start a new one.

  1. Open the account menu from your avatar.
  2. Select the workspace you want to switch to from the list. Praxivara loads that workspace right away.
  3. To start a fresh workspace, choose the option to create a new one and follow the guided steps.

Each workspace keeps its own assistant history, agents, and connected tools separate, so switching is a clean way to keep different areas of work apart.

Account, billing, usage, and team settings

The menu links to the settings that govern your account and workspace. From here you can open:

  • Account settings — your name, personal details, and preferences.
  • Billing — your plan, payment method, and invoices.
  • Usage — where you can track how much of your allowance you've used.
  • Team — for inviting and managing people in your workspace.
  • Workspace settings — options that apply to the current workspace as a whole.

Some of these entries appear depending on your role and how your workspace is set up, so your menu may show a slightly different list from a colleague's.

Changing your theme

You can set how Praxivara looks from the appearance options in the account menu. Choose from:

  • System — follows your device's light or dark setting automatically.
  • Light — always the light theme.
  • Dark — always the dark theme.

Your choice applies instantly and is saved to your account, so it carries across the devices you sign in on.

Documentation, Help Center, and sign-out

The account menu also links out to the resources and the exit:

  • Documentation and the Help Center open in a new tab, so you can keep your workspace open while you read.
  • Sign out ends your session on the current device.

If you're on a free trial, the menu is also where you'll see how many trial days remain, so you always know where you stand.

What belongs here vs. the sidebar

As a quick rule of thumb:

Use the main sidebar forUse the account menu for
Dashboard, Assistant, Agents, IntegrationsSwitching or creating workspaces
Workspace tools like Tasks, Meetings, NotesAccount, Billing, Usage, and Team settings
Search and phone channelsTheme, documentation, and sign-out

Think of the sidebar as where you do the work, and the account menu as where you manage who you are and how your workspace is set up.
