Praxivara lets you choose how the workspace looks. You can keep the interface in Light mode, switch to Dark mode, or let System mode follow whatever your device is set to. Your choice applies instantly and is saved to your account, so it travels with you.
Choosing your theme
You control appearance from the account menu, which lives at the bottom of the left sidebar next to your avatar.
- Open the account menu by selecting your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Find the appearance options, which let you pick between System, Light, and Dark.
- Select the mode you want. The change applies immediately across your workspace.
There's no separate save step. As soon as you make a selection, the new look takes effect and your preference is stored.
What each mode does

How System mode follows your device
When you choose System, Praxivara defers to your operating system's appearance preference rather than a fixed setting. This is useful if your device already switches between light and dark on a schedule or with your surroundings.
For example, if your computer or phone is set to turn dark in the evening, Praxivara will shift to dark at the same time without you doing anything. During the day, when your device returns to light, Praxivara follows again. Light and Dark, by contrast, stay put no matter what your device does.
Tip: If you like a consistent look that never changes on its own, pick Light or Dark. If you'd rather Praxivara blend in with the rest of your device throughout the day, choose System.
Your preference is saved to your account
The appearance you select is tied to your account, not just the browser you happen to be using. When you sign in on another computer or on your phone, Praxivara remembers your choice and applies it there too.
If you use Praxivara across several workspaces, your appearance preference stays consistent as you switch between them, so the interface always looks the way you expect.
Appearance on mobile
Praxivara is fully responsive, so the same appearance controls are available on your phone. Open the slide-out menu, reach your account menu, and choose System, Light, or Dark just as you would on a larger screen. Because your preference is saved to your account, the theme you set on your computer will already be applied when you open Praxivara on mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Will changing my theme affect my teammates?
No. Appearance is a personal preference tied to your own account. Changing it has no effect on how Praxivara looks for anyone else on your team.
My theme didn't follow my device — what happened?
Only System mode follows your device's appearance setting. If you're in Light or Dark, Praxivara stays in that mode by design. Switch to System if you want it to track your device automatically.
