Setting up your account: the onboarding flow Guide
A step-by-step walk through Praxivara's onboarding: identity, personal details, plan and trial, and connecting your first phone channel.

When you first sign up for Praxivara, a short guided flow gets you from a fresh account to a ready-to-use workspace. It takes just a few minutes and covers who your assistant is helping, the plan you want, your free trial, and — if you'd like — getting the assistant onto your phone. This article walks through each step.
What you'll set up
The onboarding flow moves through four short stages before you land on your dashboard:
- Identity — your name and date of birth.
- Personal details — optional context that helps the assistant personalize its answers.
- Plan and trial — choosing a plan, your billing cadence, and starting your free trial.
- Phone connection — an optional step to reach your assistant from your phone.
You can change most of these choices later in Settings, so there's no need to get everything perfect the first time.
Step 1: Confirm your identity
Enter your first and last name and your date of birth. Your date of birth is used only to confirm that you're at least 18, which is required to use Praxivara.
If you see a message that you must be at least 18 years old, the date of birth on the form indicates an under-18 account, which we're unable to create. Double-check the date you entered.
Step 2: Add personal details (optional)
Next, you can tell the assistant a little about yourself so its responses feel tailored to you. This step is entirely optional and can include:
- A nickname or preferred name.
- Your occupation or role.
- Anything else you'd like the assistant to keep in mind.
Feel free to skip this and come back to it — you can add or edit these details anytime from Settings.
Step 3: Choose your plan and start your free trial
Select the plan that fits how you want to work, and choose whether to be billed monthly or yearly. Yearly billing costs less over the course of a year than paying month to month.
Every new account includes a 7-day free trial. To start it, you'll add a payment card. Nothing is charged while your trial is active — your card is only billed once the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
Why a billing address is requested
At checkout you may be asked for a billing address. This is used to calculate any applicable sales tax for your location.
If you see a message that we're not currently servicing your location, account creation is paused for that area while we complete local tax registration. Try updating your billing address, or reach out to support and we'll help.
Step 4: Connect a phone channel (optional)
At the end of the flow, you can choose to connect a phone channel so you can reach your assistant directly from your phone. If you'd rather explore first, skip this step and go straight to your dashboard — you can connect a channel later.
After onboarding
Once you finish, you'll land on your dashboard: a personalized home screen with a summary of your day, an Ask Praxivara bar for delegating work, and quick tiles for your tasks, meetings, agents, and more. A short setup checklist is there to help you take your first few actions, like starting a chat, connecting a tool, or building an agent.
Adding more workspaces later
You can create additional workspaces at any time from your account menu. A new workspace begins at the plan step and starts billing right away — the 7-day free trial applies once per account, so it won't repeat on a second or third workspace.
Tip: If dates and times look off after setup, check that your account time zone is set correctly. You can adjust it in Settings, and everything across your dashboard will update to match.
