Jumping anywhere with the search palette (Cmd+K) Guide

The search palette is the fastest way to move around Praxivara. Instead of hunting through the sidebar, you press a single shortcut, type a few letters, and jump straight to the page or conversation you want.

Opening the search palette

You can open the palette two ways from anywhere in your workspace:

• Press Cmd+K on a Mac, or Ctrl+K on Windows.
• Click the Search… button in the left sidebar.

A search box appears in the center of the screen, ready for you to type. To close it without going anywhere, press Esc or click outside the box.

Tip: The Cmd+K shortcut works no matter where you are — the Dashboard, a chat, an agent, or a workspace tool. You never have to leave what you are doing to jump somewhere else.

Jumping to a page

The palette can take you to any of the main areas of Praxivara — your Dashboard, the Assistant, Agents, Integrations, and your workspace tools such as Tasks, Meetings, Reminders, Notes, Mail, and Contacts.

1. Open the palette with Cmd+K (Ctrl+K).
2. Start typing the name of the page you want, for example Tasks or Integrations.
3. Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight a result.
4. Press Enter to go there, or click the result with your mouse.

You do not need to type the full name — a few letters is usually enough to bring the right page to the top of the list.

Finding a past conversation

The palette also searches your chats, so you can pick up a conversation with the Assistant without scrolling through your history.

1. Open the palette and type a word or phrase from the chat you are looking for.
2. Matching conversations appear in the results alongside pages.
3. Select the one you want to reopen it exactly where you left off.

The palette is designed so you can move quickly without reaching for the mouse:

When you can't find something

A few pages live in the account menu rather than the main navigation — including Billing, Usage, Team, and Workspace Settings. If a search doesn't surface what you expect, open the account menu from your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to reach those settings. Some items also depend on your role and how your workspace is set up, so what appears may vary between team members.
