Finding your way with the sidebar Guide

A tour of the persistent left sidebar — Dashboard, Assistant, Agents, Integrations, and your workspace tools — and how to jump anywhere fast.

On this page

The left sidebar is your map of Praxivara. It stays with you on every page and gives you one-click access to your Dashboard, the AI Assistant, your Agents, Integrations, and the everyday workspace tools. This guide walks through each part so you always know where you are and where to go next.

The main navigation

The top of the sidebar holds the four places you'll return to most often:

  • Dashboard — your mission-control home screen, with a summary of your day, quick stats, and an "Ask Praxivara" bar for delegating work on the spot.
  • Assistant — the full chat experience, where you have longer conversations with your AI assistant and pick up recent threads.
  • Agents — where you build, run, and review the automated agents that work on your behalf.
  • Integrations — where you connect the tools and accounts you already use so the assistant and your agents can act across them.

Your workspace tools

Below the main navigation you'll find the tools that keep your work organized:

  • Tasks — track to-dos and tick them off as you go.
  • Meetings — see what's on your calendar and join from one place.
  • Reminders — nudges for the things you don't want to forget.
  • Notes — a place to keep ideas and reference material.
  • Mail — reach your messages without leaving the workspace.
  • Contacts — the people you work with, in one directory.

If your plan includes a phone channel, you'll also see it in the sidebar so you can manage how the assistant reaches you by phone.

A middle area that follows you

The middle section of the sidebar adapts to the page you're on, so the most relevant context is always close:

  • On the Assistant page, it lists your recent chats so you can jump back into any conversation.
  • On the Agents page, it shows your agents for quick switching.
  • Elsewhere, it surfaces your workspace tools.

Search anything with the command palette

When you want to move quickly, open the search palette instead of clicking around.

  1. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows), or select the Search… button in the sidebar.
  2. Start typing the name of a page or a chat.
  3. Pick a result to jump straight there.
Tip: The command palette is the fastest way to reach a page or an old conversation — no need to remember exactly where it lives in the sidebar.

Collapse the sidebar for more room

You can collapse the sidebar to a slim rail of icons to give your content more space, then expand it again whenever you like. The links stay in the same order, so the layout you learn never moves.

The account menu at the bottom

Your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar opens the account menu — the hub for identity and workspace-level settings. A few things live here rather than in the main navigation, which is worth knowing if you can't find them:

  • Switch between workspaces or create a new one.
  • Open Account, Billing, Usage, Team, and Workspace Settings.
  • Change your appearance between System, Light, and Dark — it applies instantly and is saved to your account.
  • Open Documentation or the Help Center.
  • Sign out.
Note: Some items, such as Team and Billing, appear based on your role and how your workspace is set up, so your menu may look slightly different from a colleague's.

The header

Across the top of the workspace, the header carries a notifications bell for updates and the account menu, mirroring the options above so they're always within reach.

On your phone

The workspace is fully responsive. On a smaller screen, the sidebar tucks into a slide-out menu you can open when you need it, so the same navigation and tools travel with you.
