If you can't remember the password you use to sign in to Praxivara, you can reset it yourself from the sign-in screen. The process is quick, and it keeps your account, chats, agents, and settings exactly as they were.

Reset your password

  1. Go to the Praxivara sign-in screen.
  2. Select Forgot password.
  3. Enter the email address you use to sign in and submit the form.
  4. Check that inbox for a message from Praxivara containing a reset link.
  5. Open the link and choose a new password that meets the strength rules, then confirm it.
  6. Sign in with your new password.
Tip: Reset links are time-limited for your security. If the link has expired by the time you open it, simply return to the sign-in screen and request a new one.

Password requirements

Your new password needs to be at least 8 characters long and include a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and a number. Choosing a longer, unique password that you don't use anywhere else is the best way to keep your account secure.

Why the "email sent" message always looks the same

After you submit the Forgot password form, Praxivara shows the same confirmation message every time — regardless of whether an account exists for the address you entered. This is intentional.

If the message changed depending on whether an address had an account, anyone could use the form to discover which email addresses are registered with Praxivara. Keeping the response identical protects every customer's privacy and helps prevent that kind of probing.

In practice, this means:

  • If the address is tied to an account, a reset email is on its way.
  • If it isn't, no email is sent — but you'll still see the same confirmation on screen.

So if the email never arrives, the most likely reasons are that you entered a different address than the one on your account, or the message landed in a spam or filtered folder.

If the reset email doesn't arrive

  • Check spam and filtered folders. Automated messages sometimes get sorted away from your main inbox.
  • Confirm the address. Make sure you requested the reset for the exact email you sign in with, including the correct domain.
  • Request it again. Returning to the sign-in screen and using Forgot password a second time will generate a fresh link.
  • Wait a few minutes. Delivery is usually fast, but mail providers occasionally add a short delay.

If you use Google sign-in

If you sign in to Praxivara with Google, you may not have a separate Praxivara password to reset. In that case, continue signing in with the Sign in with Google option instead. You can add a password later from Settings > Security if you'd like to sign in with email as well.

After you're back in

Once you've reset your password and signed in, it's a good moment to review your account security. From Settings > Security you can turn on two-factor authentication for an added layer of protection, generate backup codes so you're never locked out, and review the devices currently signed in to your account.

Note: Changing your password from within Settings signs out your other devices as a safety measure, while your current browser stays signed in. Resetting a forgotten password lets you regain access when you can't sign in at all.

Still can't get in?

If you've tried the steps above and still can't access your account, reach out to Praxivara support. The team can help you recover access while keeping your account and data secure.
