Praxivara keeps a list of every browser and device that is currently signed in to your account. Reviewing this list regularly is one of the quickest ways to confirm that only you have access, and to sign out anything you no longer use or don't recognize.
Where to find your active sessions
Your signed-in devices live in your account settings, alongside the other tools that protect how you sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Go to the Security tab.
- Find the Active sessions area, which lists each browser and device signed in to your account.
Each entry gives you enough detail to recognize the session, so you can tell your own devices apart from anything unexpected.
Identify your current session
The device you're using right now is marked as your current session. This is the session that stays signed in when you sign others out, so it's worth confirming which entry it is before you take any action.
Tip: If two entries look similar — for example, the same browser on the same computer — the one flagged as current is the window you're reading this in. Sign out the other one if you don't recognize it.
Sign out a device you don't recognize
If you spot a session you can't account for, sign it out right away.
- In Active sessions, locate the entry you want to end.
- Choose the option to sign it out.
- That device is signed out immediately and will need your credentials to get back in.
Signing out a session doesn't delete any of your data, chats, or agents. It only ends that device's access, so you can do it freely whenever something looks off.
What to do if a session looks unfamiliar
If you find a session you're confident isn't yours, sign it out and then take two follow-up steps to fully secure your account:
- Change your password. Setting a new password signs out every other device automatically, while keeping your current browser signed in.
- Turn on two-factor authentication if you haven't already, so a password alone can't get anyone back in.
Sign out everywhere at once
Changing your password is the fastest way to clear every other session in one step. When you set or change your password, all other signed-in devices are signed out and only the browser you're currently using stays active. This is a good routine to run if you've been signed in on a shared or public computer, or if you're not sure you signed out somewhere.
Keep your sessions healthy
- Review periodically. A quick look every so often helps you catch anything unexpected early.
- Sign out shared devices. After using Praxivara on a computer that isn't yours, sign that session out from the list.
- Add a second factor. Two-factor authentication makes an unfamiliar session far less likely in the first place.
