An automation didn't run or failed
Where to read the run, the usual causes, and how to get the builder to fix the function.

Read the run
Open Automations, then Logs on the row. Each run shows its status, how long it took, its log lines, its result and any error.
Common causes
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Never runs | Switched off, archived, or it reached the end you set | Turn it on, restore it, or change the end |
| Runs but fails | The function raised an error | Ask the builder: the nightly summary automation is failing, read the run and fix it |
| Runs but does nothing | The function needs to run as the app to reach the rows | Ask the builder; it grants the app identity to a function it has tested |
| The function no longer exists | It was deleted | Point the automation at a different function, or ask the builder for a new one |
