Editing the code yourself

Open any file in the Code tab, save with a safety check, and undo a change that broke the build.

Open the Code tab

Pick a file from the tree.

Edit and save

A quick check runs on save. If it spots something that would obviously break the app it tells you and offers Save anyway.

The app rebuilds

The preview refreshes with your change.

If your change breaks the build

The editor says so and offers Keep my changes to carry on editing or Discard my changes to put the file back.

Locked files

A few files are managed by the platform and marked locked: the SDK your app uses and the session helpers. Everything else is yours to edit.

Will the builder overwrite my edits?

No. It reads a file before rewriting it. If you want it to leave a file alone entirely, say so.
