Making someone an admin or removing access

The user and admin roles, how a role is changed, and how to disable an account.

On this page

Your app has two roles. A user is an ordinary member. An admin can see admin-only pages and tables, and can change or delete any row. You are an admin of your own app.

Changing a role

Roles are changed from inside your app, on the Team or Members page the builder makes for you: add a team page where I can make someone an admin or an ordinary user. The dashboard's Users tab shows each person's role.

Disabling an account

The same page can disable an account. A disabled person cannot sign in until re-enabled; their data stays. The app always keeps at least one active admin, so the last one cannot be disabled.

Admins of your app are not Praxivara users

Your app's admins are its own users with the admin role. They have no access to your Praxivara account or dashboard. Only you (and anyone you share your Praxivara workspace with) can open the builder and the dashboard.
