When your plan is managed by a workspace Guide

If your access comes through a workspace, your seat is billed on the workspace and there's nothing for you to pay or manage yourself.

Some Praxivara accounts get their plan through a workspace rather than an individual subscription. When that's the case, your seat is billed on the workspace, and there's nothing for you to pay or manage on your own Billing page.

What "managed by a workspace" means

A workspace is a shared space that an admin sets up so a team can use Praxivara together. When your access is provided this way, the workspace covers your seat as part of its plan.

In practice, this means:

  • You don't have your own subscription to pay for.
  • You won't be charged for your seat, and you won't receive a personal invoice for it.
  • Your plan level is set by the workspace, so the features available to you match what the workspace provides.

Note: If you signed up on your own and started a plan yourself, this article may not apply to you. Open Settings and check your Billing page — if it shows an active plan you can change, your subscription is your own to manage.

Why there's nothing for you to pay

Because your seat is billed on the workspace, the parts of billing that individual subscribers handle are handled by the workspace admin instead. That includes the plan, the payment method, the billing address, and any invoices.

When you open your Billing page, you'll see that plan changes and payment settings aren't available to edit. This is expected — it reflects that your access is covered by the workspace rather than a personal subscription.

What you can still do

Even though you don't manage billing, your day-to-day experience is the same as any other user:

  • Use your AI assistant and any agents available on your plan.
  • Manage your own account details, such as your name and sign-in and security settings, from Settings.
  • Review your activity and usage where those views are available to you.

If you need a plan or seat change

Since billing lives with the workspace, changes to your plan, seat, or access are made by the workspace admin — not from your own Billing page. If you need something adjusted, reach out to the person who manages your workspace.

  1. Identify who administers your workspace. This is usually the person who invited you or set up your team's account.
  2. Let them know what you need — for example, a higher plan level, a feature that requires a different plan, or a change to your seat.
  3. The admin can make the change from the workspace, and it will take effect for your account.

If your access changes unexpectedly

Your access depends on the workspace remaining active and your seat remaining part of it. If a feature you were using is no longer available, or your access stops entirely, it usually reflects a change made at the workspace level.

If that happens and you're not sure why, contact your workspace admin first — they can confirm your seat status and adjust it if needed. If you believe your access is set up incorrectly, our support team can help point you in the right direction.
