Adding storage & storage auto top-up Guide
Add more file storage to your plan and turn on auto top-up so you never run out of space mid-task.

Your plan comes with an included amount of file storage for the chats, agents, channels, mail, and files you create. When you need more room, you can add storage on top of your plan, and you can have Praxivara add it automatically before you run out.
When to add storage
The Usage page shows how much storage you're using against your total quota. As you approach your limit, the storage meter turns amber, and it turns red once you're full. When storage is full, new files can't be saved until you free space or add more.
Adding storage is the right move when you want to keep everything you've created and still have room for new uploads, recordings, and generated files. If you'd rather reclaim space instead, you can delete chats, agents, or files you no longer need and that space is freed right away.
Tip: You can ask the assistant "how much storage am I using?" or "am I full?" at any time and get the exact figures without opening a page.
Add a monthly storage tier
Storage add-ons increase your total quota for as long as they're active, so your available space grows alongside your plan's included allowance.
- Open Settings and go to your Billing page.
- Find the storage add-on section.
- Choose the amount of additional storage you want to add.
- Confirm the change. Your new total quota takes effect immediately, and you'll see it reflected on the Usage page.
Once added, the extra space appears in your storage meter as part of your total quota, alongside the allowance included with your plan.
Change or remove a storage add-on
You can adjust or remove an active storage add-on from the same Billing page. If you reduce or remove storage, make sure your current usage still fits within your remaining quota so your files stay saved.
Turn on storage auto top-up
Auto top-up adds storage for you automatically when you get close to your limit, so uploads and recordings never fail for being out of space while you're mid-task.
- Open Settings and go to your Billing page.
- Locate the storage auto top-up option.
- Turn it on and choose how much storage to add each time it triggers.
- Save your settings. Auto top-up uses the card on file, so make sure your payment method is up to date.
With auto top-up enabled, Praxivara adds the amount you chose whenever your available space runs low, keeping your work uninterrupted.
Note: Auto top-up needs an active plan with a valid payment method on file. If you don't see the option, check that your billing details are complete.
Confirm your new storage
After adding storage or enabling auto top-up, open the Usage page to confirm the change:
- Your total quota should reflect the added storage.
- The storage meter shows your current usage against the new total.
- The breakdown by source lets you see what's using space, largest first, so you can plan ahead.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when my storage fills up?
New files can't be saved until you either free space by deleting chats, agents, or files you no longer need, or add more storage.
Do I have to upgrade my whole plan to get more storage?
No. You can add storage on its own from the Billing page without changing your plan.
Can I stop auto top-up later?
Yes. You can turn auto top-up off at any time from the Billing page.
