Your storage meter shows how much file space you're using and how much you have in total. This guide explains how to read it, what the colors mean, and how your plan allowance and any add-ons combine into a single quota.
Where to find your storage meter
Your storage meter lives on the Usage page, which you'll find in Settings under the Usage tab, reachable from the sidebar. Alongside your credits for the billing period, the page displays a storage section with a progress bar and the exact figures.
You can also just ask the assistant. Questions like "how much storage am I using?" or "am I full?" return your current numbers directly in chat.
Reading the meter: used vs. quota
The meter shows two numbers:
- Used — the total storage your files, chats, agents, channels, and other content currently occupy, shown in GB.
- Quota — your total available storage, also in GB. This is the ceiling you're working against.
The progress bar fills as you use more, and a percentage tells you at a glance how close you are to full.
What the colors mean
The bar changes color as you approach your limit, so you're never caught off guard:
- Normal — you have comfortable headroom.
- Amber — you've passed 80% of your quota. A good time to review what's using space or add more.
- Red — your storage is full. New files can't be saved until you free space or increase your quota.
Tip: If an upload or a saved file ever fails for being out of space, check the meter first. Once you're back under your quota, the action will succeed on the next try.
Plan allowance vs. add-on storage
Your total quota is made up of two parts, and the Usage page shows the split so you can see exactly where your space comes from:
- Plan allowance — the storage included with your current plan. Higher plans include more.
- Add-on storage — any extra storage you've purchased on top of your plan.
These combine into the single quota figure on your meter. For example, your plan allowance plus your add-on GB together make up the total you see. If you need more room, adding storage raises your quota without changing anything else about your plan.
How your plan allowance scales
Each plan tier includes a larger storage allowance:
| Plan | Included storage |
|---|---|
| Plus | 50 GB |
| Pro | 100 GB |
| Premium | 150 GB |
| Elite | 200 GB |
Any add-on storage you purchase is added on top of whichever tier you're on.
When you're running low
If your meter is amber or red, you have two ways to get comfortable again:
- Free up space. The Usage page breaks your storage down by source — such as chats, agents, channels, uploads, and generated files — with the largest first. Deleting the underlying item frees its space immediately.
- Add more storage. Increase your quota with a storage add-on so your meter has room again.
Either approach updates your meter right away, so you can watch the used figure drop or the quota rise as soon as you act.
Note: The storage meter tracks file space only. Credits — the work the platform does for you each billing period — are metered separately in their own section of the Usage page.
