Praxivara keeps an eye on your file storage and lets you know before it becomes a problem. As you get closer to your quota, the storage meter changes color and shows a warning, so you have time to free up space or add more before anything is blocked.
Where you'll see storage alerts
Storage alerts appear on the Usage page, which lives in Settings under the Usage tab. There you'll find a storage meter showing how much space you're using in GB versus your total quota, along with a progress bar that changes color as you approach the limit.
You can also ask the assistant directly — for example, "how much storage am I using?" or "am I full?" — and it will report your exact figures.
What the alert levels mean
The storage meter uses color to signal how close you are to your quota:
- Under 80% (normal): Plenty of room. The meter shows your usage without any warning.
- 80% and above (amber): The progress bar turns amber and a low-storage notice appears on the Usage page. This is your cue to review what's taking up space, delete anything you no longer need, or add more storage.
- Full (red): When your storage is used up, the bar turns red and a storage-full warning appears. At this point new files can't be saved until you free space or increase your quota.
Tip: Treat the amber warning as your early signal. Acting at 80% gives you time to tidy up calmly, rather than resolving it mid-task when storage is already full.
Blocked-upload warnings
If your storage is full, any action that would save a new file — uploading a document, saving a voice recording, or generating a file — is blocked, and you'll see a message that you're out of space. Existing files, chats, and agents are unaffected; only new files are held back.
To clear the block, either free up space or add more storage, then try the action again.
What to do when you get an alert
When you see a low-storage or storage-full warning, you have two options: free up space you're no longer using, or add more.
Free up space
- Open the Usage page from Settings.
- Expand the storage breakdown to see what's using your space, grouped by source such as chats, agents, channels, mail, voice recordings, uploads, and generated files. The largest items are listed first.
- Use the links in the breakdown to open an item directly.
- Delete the chats, agents, recordings, or files you no longer need. The space they used is freed immediately.
Add more storage
If you've cleared what you can and still need more room, you can add storage from the Billing page. Adding a storage add-on increases your total quota right away, which clears any storage-full warning and lets uploads resume.
How much storage your plan includes
Every plan comes with an included storage allowance, and your total quota is that allowance plus any storage add-ons you've purchased. On the Usage page you can see the split between your plan allowance and any add-on space, so it's clear where your quota comes from.
If you consistently bump up against your limit, adding storage or moving to a higher plan gives you more headroom without changing how you work day to day.
Staying ahead of storage limits
- Check the Usage page periodically, or simply ask the assistant how much storage you have left.
- Delete old voice recordings, generated files, and finished chats you no longer need — these often account for the most space.
- Add storage before you hit your limit if you know a large upload or a busy period is coming.
By watching for the amber warning and acting early, you can keep uploads flowing and avoid interruptions to your work.
