Update the 6-digit PIN or the phone number you call in from, right from the Voice channel screen.

The voice line lets you call a Praxivara number and talk to your assistant out loud after entering a 6-digit PIN. If you want a new PIN, or you'll be calling from a different phone, you can update both from the Voice channel screen at any time.

Before you start

Voice calling is managed from the Voice channel in your Channels settings. If you don't see a Voice option, voice calling may not be turned on for your workspace or plan yet.

Two details control your voice line:

  • Your registered phone — the number you'll be calling from. This is how the assistant recognizes you when you call in.
  • Your PIN — a 6-digit code you enter on the keypad to confirm it's you before the conversation starts.

Change your PIN

  1. Open your Channels settings and select the Voice channel.
  2. Find the PIN field on the Voice channel screen.
  3. Enter a new 6-digit PIN. It must be exactly six digits.
  4. Save your change. Your new PIN takes effect for your next call.

The next time you call the voice number, enter the new PIN on your phone's keypad when prompted.

Tip: Choose a PIN you can remember but that isn't easy to guess, and avoid obvious sequences. You can update it as often as you like.

Change the phone you call from

If you're switching phones or want to call in from a different number, update your registered phone so the assistant recognizes the new caller.

  1. Open your Channels settings and select the Voice channel.
  2. Update the country and the phone number you'll be calling from.
  3. Save your change.
  4. Call the voice number shown on the screen from your newly registered phone and enter your PIN when asked.

Once saved, calls from the new number are recognized. Calls placed from a phone that isn't registered may not be recognized.

Troubleshooting

My PIN is being rejected

Make sure you're entering exactly six digits and using your most recent PIN. If you recently changed it, the new PIN applies to your next call. PIN entry works only on your phone's keypad during the call, not by voice.

The assistant doesn't recognize my call

Confirm that the number you're calling from matches the phone registered on the Voice channel screen, including the correct country. If you're on a new phone, update your registered number first, then call again.

I don't see a number to call

If the screen shows that a call-in number is coming soon, a voice number isn't available for your workspace yet. Check back later or reach out to support.

Turn voice calling off

If you no longer want to use the voice line, you can disconnect voice calling from the same Voice channel screen. You can re-register your phone and set a new PIN whenever you'd like to turn it back on.

Note: Calls to the voice line may be recorded and stored securely so your assistant can act on what was discussed and keep your conversation continuous across the web app and your phone.
