A channel isn't showing or says "not available yet" Troubleshooting

Why some channels don't appear or say "not available yet," and what you can do to reach your assistant another way.

Praxivara offers several ways to reach your assistant and agents beyond the web app — messaging apps like Messages, iMessage, WhatsApp, and Telegram, a call-in voice line, dedicated phone numbers, and email inboxes. Not every channel appears for every account, so it's normal to see fewer options than another user, or a channel that says it isn't available yet.

Why a channel might not appear

Which channels you see is determined by two things working together:

  • Your plan. Some channels are included with higher plans. If a channel isn't part of your current plan, it won't show as an option.
  • What the platform has enabled. A channel may be rolling out or temporarily paused for everyone. In that case it either won't appear or will show a "not available yet" message when you try to connect.

Because both factors apply, the list of channels you see is specific to your account. A missing channel is usually expected behavior rather than an error.

Note: The web chat is always available. Any channel you can connect will keep syncing back to your Praxivara chat, so a missing channel never means you've lost access to your assistant — only that one particular way of reaching it isn't open to you right now.

What "not available yet" means

If you select a channel and see a message such as "not available yet" or "number coming soon," the channel is recognized but isn't ready for connections on your account at this moment. This is different from an error on your side — there's nothing to fix in the connect flow itself. It typically means the channel is still being enabled or a resource (such as a call-in number) hasn't been provisioned yet.

The right response is to wait and check back later, or reach your assistant through a channel that is currently active.

Steps to take

  1. Open the Channels panel. Look for the "Continue on your phone" or Channels area to see the full list of options currently available to you.
  2. Check the channels that do appear. If a messaging channel like Telegram or WhatsApp is shown, you can connect there instead and keep the same continuous conversation.
  3. Review your plan. If the channel you want is one that's included with higher plans, upgrading may make it available. Open Settings to see what your current plan includes.
  4. Try again later. For a "not available yet" message, revisit the channel after some time. Platform-level availability can change without any action from you.
  5. Refresh the panel. If you believe a channel should be available — for example, right after upgrading — close and reopen the Channels panel, or reload the page, so the current options load fresh.

Missing versus a connection that won't complete

It helps to tell these two situations apart:

What you seeWhat it usually means
The channel isn't listed at allIt isn't enabled for your plan, or the platform hasn't turned it on for your account.
"Not available yet" / "number coming soon"The channel is recognized but not ready for connections right now.
You can start connecting but it stays on "Waiting for your message…"This is a connection issue, not an availability one — usually the connect code or QR expired, or the keyword message hasn't arrived yet. Get a fresh code and send it again.

When to get in touch

Most of the time, a missing or unavailable channel resolves on its own or after an upgrade. Reach out to support if:

  • A channel your plan includes still doesn't appear after you refresh the Channels panel.
  • A channel has shown "not available yet" for an extended period and you'd like an update on when it's expected.
  • You're unsure which channels your current plan includes and want confirmation before upgrading.

In the meantime, you can always continue in the web chat or on any channel that's currently active, and your conversation will stay in sync across all of them.
