Praxivara Mail gives you real email addresses with a full inbox inside the app, and your assistant and agents can work that mailbox alongside you. This guide shows you how to set an address up so mail gets read, drafted, and sent the way you want.
What the assistant and agents can do with mail
Once an address is allocated, your assistant and your agents can help you stay on top of email without you living in the inbox. They can:
- Read incoming messages and summarize what needs your attention
- Draft replies for you to review before anything goes out
- Send and reply to messages, and forward mail on to the right person
- Search across your mailbox, organize with folders and labels, and handle attachments
Everything happens in a real inbox inside Praxivara, so you always have the full thread in front of you.
Tip: You decide how much autonomy to give. You can ask your assistant to draft and hold for your approval, or let an agent send directly for well-defined, repetitive tasks. Start with drafts-for-review while you build confidence.
Allocate an address
Before the assistant or an agent can work a mailbox, you need an address for them to work.
- Open Praxivara Mail from your Channels or Settings area.
- Allocate a new address on the Praxivara Mail domain and give it a clear name so you can tell your inboxes apart.
- Open the inbox to confirm it's live. You can send, receive, reply, and forward from here right away.
The number of addresses you can allocate depends on your plan. Higher plans include more addresses, so you can separate mailboxes by purpose or by agent.
Have the assistant work an address
Your assistant works a mailbox conversationally. In chat, tell it which inbox to look at and what you need.
- Ask the assistant to check the inbox, for example to summarize new mail or flag anything urgent.
- Ask it to draft a reply to a specific message. Review the draft, request changes, and approve it when it reads right.
- Ask it to send, reply, or forward once you're happy. The message goes out from the Praxivara Mail address.
Because the mailbox lives in the app, you can always open the inbox yourself to read the full message, check what was sent, or take over manually.
Assign a mailbox to an agent
Agents are best for repeatable email work — triaging incoming messages, sending routine confirmations, or replying to common questions on a dedicated address.
- Allocate an address for the agent to use, or choose an existing one.
- In the agent's setup, connect it to that mailbox and describe exactly how it should handle mail — what to reply to, what tone to use, and when to hand a message back to you.
- Test the agent on a few sample messages before you rely on it, so you can confirm its drafts and sends match what you expect.
Giving an agent its own address keeps its activity separate from your personal correspondence and makes it easy to see what it has handled.
Forward your existing inbox
If you want your current email to flow through Praxivara Mail, set up forwarding from your existing provider to your Praxivara Mail address. Incoming mail then lands in the Praxivara inbox where your assistant and agents can act on it, while you keep your original address for anything you'd rather handle yourself.
Staying in control
You stay in charge of every mailbox:
- Review drafts before they send whenever a message matters.
- Open the inbox at any time to read, search, and take over a thread manually.
- Use folders and labels to keep the assistant's and agents' work organized and easy to audit.
- Adjust an agent's instructions if its replies drift from what you want.
With an address allocated and clear instructions in place, your assistant and agents can carry the routine load of your mailbox while you keep final say over anything important.
